The Belgian duo, brothers David and Stephen Dewaele, will be mixing their unique style of music at the resort in the Spanish Pyrenees.

Famous for hits like ‘As Heard on Radio Soulwax Part 2’ the pair from Ghent, are pioneers of the bastard pop genre.

The Pirineos Sur Winter festival, which promises to be the first of many, begins on 12 February and runs until 13 March.

Evening events will take place in a giant heated marquee which is being put up at the foot of the slopes and others will be held on the pistes and around the resort area during the month.

The culmination of the festival will be the weekend of 26 and 27 February when 2ManyDJs and The Requesters play on the Friday night. On the Saturday Spanish rapstar, Rap’Susklei and reggae artist Swan Fyahbwoy will be entertaining the crowds.

Other acts include Brazilian Carlinhos Brown, English-American jazz-rap group US3 and the Rumanian group Shantel with their Balkan Beat.

The Pirineos Sur Summer Festival of World Music has been going for 18 years and the organisers felt it was time to expand and include some urban sounds.
