Last night the Spanish Pyrenees enjoyed their first covering of the white stuff.

The 5cm dusting at Spain’s largest resort is a good sign for the coming season and forecasters are predicting a further 15cm tonight.

The attached photo shows the covering in the Portalet area of the resort this morning, 21st October 2009.
