Formigal has some of the most modern and complete ranges of skis and snowboards for hire.

Our ski hire is convenient and well priced. Choose the equipment that’s best for you and get the benefits of some very attractive prices as well as the advice of professionals at the moment of selecting your equipment.

We have the easiest beginners’ skis, the highest range for more advanced skiers and competition skis for experts, all in the best brands on the market with the latest developments.

You can find equipment at any of our rental shops throughout the resort.

At our ski hire shops you’ll also find a boot store and at the Sextas building there is a full ski storage room where you can leave your equipment until the following day.

Don’t forget to ask for our ski insurance for just €1.50 to cover any damage to equipment.

Slalom skis if you’re looking for quick reponse, racing skis if you like speed, Freestyle to start you off in the world of jumps and the snow park or Freeride to discover new itineraries and the thrills of off-piste skiing.

This season we have skis for ladies which are lighter and easier to turn on without losing stability or comfort.

PROGRESS RANGE:

At Formigal you’ll find beginner level skis which help you to learn and progress quickly.
The progress range is for you if you are beginning or if you have little experience of skiing, they are gentle skis which aid progress.
We use state of the art skis to keep you safe and in control.
For the little ones, we have ideal skis for their first steps on the snow and superior ranges for those who have a higher level to help them continue progressing. They are skis which allow the child to move easily and spend a fun day in the snow which they will want to repeat.

SNOWBOARD:

Within the snowboard range you will find the most well-respected names like Quicksilver, Nitro, Head….and the range you need at the best prices.
They will get you off to a good start and help you progress rapidly.
We also have Junior snowboards for younger boarders, as we know this sport has no age limits.

SNOWSHOEING, CROSS-COUNTRY, SNOWBLADE AND SNOWBIKE:

Formigal is about much more than just skiing, which is why you’ll find:
Snowshoes to enable you to visit some of the most spectacular spots.
As well as cross-country skis there are special cross-country circuits in the Portalet area.
Snowblade skis of 95cm, easy to use for a fun time with your friends.
Snowbike is the latest device to get down the slopes. It is a lightweight bicycle, without pedals and in place of wheels it has two small snowboards. This new sport has already caught on in many countries; America, Japan, Germany and France. With snowbike everyone can enjoy the snow, even those who don’t know how to ski as it holds its stability well.
